Victron Phoenix Smart IP43 Charger 12/50 (1+1) 230V (PSC125051085)

The Victron Phoenix Smart IP43 12V 50A is an intelligent battery charger designed for advanced 12V battery systems. Developed with marine applications in mind, it combines a powerful 50A output with a dedicated second output for maintaining a starter battery.

Built-in Bluetooth provides convenient monitoring and configuration through the VictronConnect app. Adaptive charging technology also manages the charging process according to battery use and condition.

Victron Phoenix Smart IP43 12V 50A

The 1+1 configuration is designed to charge two battery banks. The main output supplies the house or service battery bank. A second output provides approximately 3A for maintaining a starter battery.

This makes the charger particularly useful for boats and other installations with separate service and starter batteries.

Adaptive Battery Charging

This 12V 50A battery charger uses an adaptive five-stage charging algorithm. The stages include bulk, absorption, recondition, float and storage.

Variable absorption time adjusts according to how deeply the battery has been discharged. Shorter absorption periods help prevent unnecessary overcharging after shallow discharges.

BatterySafe mode limits the rate of voltage increase when required. This helps reduce excessive gassing when higher charging currents and absorption voltages are used.

Bluetooth and VictronConnect

Built-in Bluetooth allows charging information and settings to be accessed from a compatible smartphone, tablet or computer.

The Bluetooth battery charger can be configured through VictronConnect. Available charging parameters can be adjusted to suit the connected battery system.

Storage Mode and Battery Maintenance

Storage mode activates when the battery has not been discharged for an extended period. It reduces the float voltage to help minimise gassing and corrosion.

The Victron battery charger also periodically returns to the absorption voltage during storage. This helps support battery condition during longer periods of inactivity.

VE.Direct and Remote Control

The VE.Direct interface provides a wired connection for compatible Victron equipment and computers. The charger also includes remote on/off functionality for integration into more advanced electrical systems.

A programmable relay can be configured to respond to alarms and other events.

Ideal for Marine Battery Systems

As a marine battery charger, the 1+1 configuration is particularly useful aboard boats with separate house and starter batteries. The main bank receives the primary charging output while the starter battery receives a maintenance charge.

With intelligent charging, Bluetooth configuration and two-battery-bank support, this charger provides a capable solution for marine and other demanding 12V installations.
