Combining substantial lithium battery storage with a Victron MultiPlus-II inverter/charger, solar charging, alternator charging and a choice of monitoring packages, this kit provides a carefully selected foundation for a capable campervan power system.

Fogstar Drift Gen2 460Ah Lithium Battery

The kit includes 1 × Fogstar Drift Gen2 12V 460Ah LiFePO₄ leisure battery, providing a high-capacity energy store for your campervan.

It supplies your leisure electrical system and supports suitable 230V appliances through the MultiPlus-II inverter, with available runtime depending on your equipment and energy use.

The battery incorporates its own battery management system, alongside Bluetooth monitoring through the Fogstar app and automatic low-temperature heating to support charging in colder conditions.

Choose Your Solar Package

Choose the solar configuration that best suits your roof layout and charging requirements:

• 2 × 190W monocrystalline solar panels — 380W total

• 1 × 235W monocrystalline solar panel — 235W total

Your selected solar package includes a matched Victron SmartSolar MPPT charge controller. The controller is determined by your panel selection, so there is no separate MPPT option to choose.

The twin-panel package offers greater total solar capacity, while the single-panel package provides an alternative for roof layouts better suited to one panel. Check panel dimensions against your available roof space before selecting.

Solar mounting, cabling, roof-entry and isolation equipment are included to suit the chosen configuration.

Choose Your DC-DC Charger

Select the alternator-charging option that suits your vehicle and charging requirements:

• Victron Orion 12/12-30A Non-Isolated DC-DC Charger

• Victron Orion XS 12/12-50A DC-DC Charger

Both options use power from your vehicle’s alternator to charge the leisure battery while the engine is running.

The Orion XS offers charging output of up to 50A, helping replenish the battery more quickly where the vehicle’s alternator and installation can support it.

230V Power and Shore-Power Charging

The Victron MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-32 combines a pure sine wave inverter with a powerful battery charger.

It supplies suitable 230V appliances from your leisure battery while off-grid. When connected to a suitable mains hook-up, it manages the incoming supply and recharges the battery.

The kit also includes a Victron Digital Multi Control, providing convenient remote operation of the MultiPlus-II and adjustment of the shore-current limit to suit the available hook-up supply.

Three Ways to Charge

The Elite kit supports charging from three sources:

• Solar power through the matched SmartSolar MPPT controller

• Alternator power through your selected Orion DC-DC charger

• Shore power through the MultiPlus-II inverter/charger

Together, these charging sources provide flexible ways to replenish your battery while travelling, staying on a campsite or spending time off-grid.

Choose Your Monitoring Package

Choose how you would like to monitor your campervan electrical system:

• Victron BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor — a dedicated battery display showing state of charge, voltage, current and energy use, with Bluetooth access through VictronConnect.

• Victron Cerbo GX with GX Touch Display — a touchscreen monitoring package providing a central view of connected Victron equipment, charging activity and system information.

The BMV-712 provides straightforward battery monitoring, while the Cerbo GX and GX Touch offer a broader view of your connected electrical system.

Electrical Protection and Distribution

Power distribution is built around 2 × Victron 600A four-post busbars with protective covers, providing organised positive and negative connection points.

Selected Blue Sea Systems components provide battery isolation, Class T fuse protection and DC circuit distribution. The kit also includes solar isolation and separate AC input and output protection.

The supplied Victron Smart BatteryProtect supports controlled disconnection of selected compatible DC loads as part of the system design.

Installation Equipment Included
