The Victron Smart IP43 Charger 12V 30A is an intelligent mains battery charger for 12V leisure and marine electrical systems. It provides up to 30A to the main battery bank, plus a separate output for maintaining a starter battery.

Built-in Bluetooth provides monitoring and configuration through VictronConnect. Adaptive charging automatically manages the charging process according to battery use and condition.

Adaptive 12V Battery Charging

This 12V 30A battery charger automatically adapts the charging process according to how the battery has been used.

Variable absorption time helps prevent unnecessary overcharging after shallow discharges. Following deeper discharge, the absorption period is increased to provide a more complete recharge.

Storage mode reduces the charging voltage during extended periods of connection. This helps maintain suitable batteries when the system is not regularly used.

Main and Starter Battery Outputs

The main output supplies the service or leisure battery bank with up to 30A. A separate output provides approximately 3A for maintaining a starter battery.

The second output is intended for starter battery maintenance. It does not provide the charger's full 30A output.

Bluetooth and VictronConnect

Built-in Bluetooth allows the Bluetooth battery charger to communicate wirelessly with VictronConnect.

The app provides access to charging information and available settings from a compatible smartphone, tablet or computer. Charging parameters can also be configured for the connected battery system.

VE.Direct Connectivity

The Victron battery charger includes a VE.Direct interface for wired communication with compatible Victron equipment.

Remote on/off functionality and a programmable relay provide further integration options for more advanced electrical installations.
