Victron Energy Smart IP43 Charger 12/30 (3) 120–240V – PSC123053095

The Victron Smart IP43 Charger 12V 30A is an intelligent mains battery charger designed for 12V systems requiring multiple battery connections. Featuring three charging outputs, built-in Bluetooth and adaptive charging technology, it is ideal for marine, leisure and off-grid installations.

With a maximum combined charging current of 30A, the charger can charge up to three compatible battery banks from a single unit.

Victron Smart IP43 Charger 12V 30A

The three-output configuration provides three full-current-capable connections. Each output can deliver up to 30A when required, although the combined output cannot exceed 30A.

Unlike the 1+1 version, this model does not feature a separate low-current starter battery output.

Intelligent Battery Charging

This 12V 30A battery charger uses an adaptive six-stage charging algorithm to manage battery charging automatically.

The charging process includes bulk, absorption, recondition, float, storage and refresh stages.

Variable absorption time adjusts according to battery use. Shorter absorption periods help prevent unnecessary overcharging following shallow discharges.

Storage mode reduces charging voltage during extended periods of inactivity, helping minimise battery ageing.

Bluetooth Monitoring with VictronConnect

Built-in Bluetooth allows wireless monitoring and configuration through the VictronConnect app.

Charging voltage, current, battery profiles and available settings can be accessed from a compatible smartphone, tablet or computer.

The Bluetooth battery charger also supports firmware updates and programmable charging parameters.

Three Battery Charging Outputs

The three output battery charger is particularly useful for installations with separate service or auxiliary battery banks.

The available 30A charging current is shared between the connected batteries according to demand.

All connected batteries must operate at the same nominal voltage and require compatible charging settings.

VE.Direct and System Integration

The Victron battery charger includes a VE.Direct communication port for integration with compatible Victron monitoring equipment.

Remote on/off functionality and a programmable relay provide additional control options.

Suitable Applications

The charger is suitable for:

• Boats and yachts

• Campervans and motorhomes

• Marine service battery systems

• Shore power charging

• Off-grid battery installations

• Multiple 12V battery banks

Its combination of intelligent charging and multiple outputs makes it a practical marine battery charger for demanding electrical installations.
