The Victron Quattro 24/3000/70-50/50 230V VE.Bus is a highly efficient and versatile inverter/charger designed for demanding off-grid, marine, and backup power applications. Similar to the MultiPlus, this unit combines an inverter and a charger in one, while offering two AC inputs and advanced power management capabilities. The Quattro ensures seamless power availability, adaptive charging, and the flexibility to expand power capacity with parallel and phase operations.

Key Features of the Victron Quattro 24/3000:

Combined Inverter and ChargerThe Quattro provides a true sine wave inverter and a high-efficiency adaptive battery charger in a single unit. The inverter delivers stable, clean power suitable for sensitive electronics, while the adaptive charging system automatically adjusts to the condition of the batteries to optimise charging and extend battery life.

Two AC Inputs & Two AC Outputs The Quattro’s dual AC input capability allows it to connect to two independent AC sources, such as shore power and a generator. It will automatically detect and switch to the active source. The main output offers no-break functionality, ensuring that if there’s a grid failure or power disconnection, the Quattro instantly switches to battery power without interruption—critical for computers and sensitive devices. A second output powers non-essential loads (like air conditioners or water heaters) only when AC input is available, ensuring these loads don’t drain the batteries.

PowerAssist Technology The unique PowerAssist feature prevents overloads on limited AC power sources like small generators or shore power. When necessary, it reduces battery charging to prevent overloads and, if required, draws power from the battery to supplement the AC source, boosting power output during high-demand periods.

Scalable Power with Parallel Operation The Quattro offers virtually unlimited power potential through parallel operation, allowing up to 6 units to be connected in parallel for higher output. Remote Monitoring and Control Manage and monitor your Quattro system remotely using the Victron VRM Portaland app. You can control your system from anywhere in the world via the internet using a phone, tablet, laptop, or PC. For enhanced functionality, the Colour Control GX or Venus GX can be integrated, providing additional control options like setting geofences for hire vehicles or adjusting system settings remotely.
