Victron Phoenix Smart IP43 Charger 12/50(3) 120-240V (PSC125053095)

The Victron Phoenix Smart IP43 12V 50A is an intelligent battery charger designed for 12V systems with multiple battery banks. Featuring three charging outputs, built-in Bluetooth and adaptive charging technology, it provides reliable battery charging for marine and leisure applications.

Developed with boat owners in mind, the charger can simultaneously charge up to three battery banks. Its intelligent charging system automatically adapts to battery condition and use.

Victron Phoenix Smart IP43 12V 50A

The three-output configuration allows multiple battery banks to be charged from a single unit. Each output can supply up to the full rated 50A, although the combined charging current cannot exceed 50A.

This makes the charger particularly useful for boats and other installations with separate service, starter or auxiliary battery banks.

Adaptive 12V Battery Charging

This 12V 50A battery charger uses an adaptive five-stage charging algorithm. The stages include bulk, absorption, recondition, float and storage.

Variable absorption time adjusts according to battery use. Shorter absorption periods help prevent unnecessary overcharging after shallow discharges.

Following deeper discharges, absorption time increases to provide a more complete charging cycle.

BatterySafe mode also helps prevent excessive gassing by controlling the rate of charging voltage increase.

Bluetooth Monitoring with VictronConnect

Built-in Bluetooth allows wireless monitoring and configuration through the VictronConnect app.

The Bluetooth battery charger provides access to charging information, available settings and firmware updates from a compatible device.

Charging parameters can also be adjusted to suit the connected battery system.

Storage Mode and Battery Maintenance

Storage mode reduces the float voltage when a battery remains unused for extended periods. This helps minimise gassing and corrosion in suitable lead-acid batteries.

The Victron battery charger periodically returns to the absorption voltage during storage to support battery maintenance.

VE.Direct and Remote Control

The VE.Direct interface provides wired communication with compatible Victron equipment.

Remote on/off functionality and a programmable relay allow further integration into advanced electrical systems.

Suitable Applications

This marine battery charger is particularly useful for:

• Boats and yachts

• Marine service battery banks

• Separate starter and auxiliary batteries

• Campervans and motorhomes

• Shore power charging

• Multi-bank 12V electrical systems

Combining three charging outputs, adaptive charging and Bluetooth connectivity, the Phoenix Smart IP43 provides flexible battery charging for demanding 12V installations.
