Charge your leisure battery safely and efficiently while travelling with the Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-18 Isolated DC-DC Charger. Designed for 12V dual-battery systems, it uses power from your vehicle’s starter battery and alternator to deliver intelligent 18A charging to your leisure battery.
Ideal for campervans, motorhomes, boats and commercial vehicles, the Orion-Tr Smart is suitable for both conventional and smart alternators. Built-in engine-running detection automatically activates charging when the engine is operating, helping prevent unwanted discharge from the starter battery.
Bluetooth connectivity allows you to configure the charger, select the correct charging profile and monitor its operating status through the VictronConnect app. Its adaptive three-stage charging process—bulk, absorption and float—helps maintain battery health and supports both lead-acid and lithium batteries.
This isolated model provides galvanic isolation between its input and output circuits, making it particularly suitable for marine installations and systems where electrical separation is required. Units can also be connected in parallel when a higher charging current is needed.
