The Victron Orion-Tr 12/48-8A Isolated DC-DC Converter converts a nominal 12V DC supply into a regulated 48V output, allowing compatible 48V equipment to operate from a 12V electrical system.

With an 8A continuous output at nominal voltage and 40°C, adjustable output voltage and galvanic isolation, it provides a practical solution for installations requiring separate input and output circuits.

Key Features

12V to 48V Conversion: Power compatible 48V DC equipment from a nominal 12V supply.
Adjustable Output: Set the output between 40V and 60V to match your equipment’s requirements.
Galvanic Isolation: Electrically separates the input and output circuits.
Remote On/Off: Control operation using a low-power switch or an appropriate external control signal.
Parallel Operation: Multiple units can operate together to increase available output current.
Electronic Protection: Short-circuit protection and temperature-dependent output reduction help protect the converter.
Screw Terminal Connections: Accepts cables up to 16mm².
IP43 Protection: Applies when installed with the screw terminals facing downwards.
