Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/12 30 Non-Isolated DC-DC Charger

Charge your 12V leisure battery safely and efficiently while driving with the Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-30A Non-Isolated DC-DC Charger. Also known as a battery-to-battery or B2B charger, it delivers controlled charging from a vehicle’s starter battery and alternator to a separate leisure battery.

Designed for 12V-to-12V dual-battery installations, the Orion-Tr Smart is compatible with both conventional and smart alternators, including those commonly fitted to Euro 5 and Euro 6 vehicles. Built-in engine-running detection activates charging when appropriate and helps protect the starter battery from unwanted discharge.

Bluetooth is built in, allowing you to configure the charger, select a battery profile and check its operating status through the VictronConnect app—no separate Bluetooth dongle is required.

The programmable three-stage charging process uses bulk, absorption and float stages to support both lead-acid and lithium batteries. The unit can also operate as an adjustable DC power supply, while multiple chargers may be connected in parallel when greater output is required.

As a non-isolated charger, the input and output share a common negative connection. This makes it a practical choice for many campervan, motorhome and vehicle installations where galvanic isolation is not required.

This is a non-isolated charger with a shared negative connection between the starter and leisure battery systems. Choose an isolated model where electrical separation is required.
