Victron Blue Smart IP22 Charger 24/16(3) 230V UK (BPC241648022)

The Victron Blue Smart IP22 24V 16A is an intelligent battery charger designed for charging and maintaining 24V batteries. It combines a 16A charging output with three battery connections, built-in Bluetooth and adaptive charging technology.

Supplied with a UK mains plug, the charger is suitable for boats, campervans, commercial vehicles and workshop applications requiring reliable battery charging.

Victron Blue Smart IP22 24V 16A

The intelligent charging system uses an adaptive charging algorithm to manage battery charging according to battery condition and use.

Storage mode helps maintain batteries during extended periods of inactivity. The charger can also attempt to recover deeply discharged batteries by initially supplying a low current.

A dedicated charging mode is available for compatible lithium-ion batteries.

Intelligent 24V Battery Charging

This 24V 16A battery charger automatically adjusts the charging process according to battery condition and previous use.

Its adaptive charging stages include test, bulk, absorption, recondition, float and storage.

Storage mode reduces charging voltage during extended periods of inactivity, helping minimise battery ageing.

Three Battery Charging Outputs

The three output battery charger allows up to three compatible 24V battery banks to be connected.

The maximum combined charging current is 16A, shared between the connected battery banks according to demand.

This makes it useful for installations with separate service or auxiliary batteries.

Bluetooth Monitoring with VictronConnect

Built-in Bluetooth allows wireless monitoring and configuration through the VictronConnect app.

Charging voltage, current, charging progress and available settings can be accessed from a compatible smartphone, tablet or computer.

The Bluetooth battery charger also supports firmware updates and charging history monitoring.

NIGHT and LOW Charging Modes

NIGHT and LOW modes reduce the charging current to a maximum of 50% of the rated output.

NIGHT mode automatically ends after eight hours, while LOW mode remains active until manually changed.

VE.Smart Networking

VE.Smart Networking allows compatible Victron devices to share battery information wirelessly.

When connected to supported equipment, the Victron battery charger can use shared voltage, temperature and current measurements to help optimise charging.

Suitable Applications

The charger is suitable for:

• Boats and marine battery systems

• Campervans and motorhomes with 24V systems

• Commercial vehicles

• Workshop and garage installations

• Off-grid battery systems

• Multiple 24V battery banks

Its combination of three outputs, adaptive charging and Bluetooth connectivity makes it a practical solution for maintaining 24V batteries.
