Victron Blue Smart IP22 Charger – 12/15(1) 230V UK (BPC121542022)

The Victron Blue Smart IP22 12V 15A is an intelligent battery charger with built-in Bluetooth and a 15A charging output. Designed for 12V battery systems, it provides advanced charging and maintenance for campervans, boats, cars, motorcycles and workshop applications.

Built-in Bluetooth connects the charger to the VictronConnect app. This allows you to monitor charging performance, review historical data and adjust available settings from a compatible device.

Victron Blue Smart IP22 12V 15A

The adaptive charging system automatically optimises the charging process according to how the battery has been used. Its charging stages include test, bulk, absorption, recondition, float and storage.

Storage mode reduces the float voltage when the battery remains unused. This helps minimise gassing and corrosion during longer periods of storage.

The charger can also attempt to recover deeply discharged batteries. It begins with a low current before normal charging resumes when sufficient battery voltage is detected.

Bluetooth Monitoring with VictronConnect

Built-in Bluetooth provides convenient wireless monitoring through the VictronConnect app. You can check voltage and current, review charging history and configure available settings.

Expert mode provides additional control over charging parameters. These include absorption, float and storage voltages, temperature compensation and charging time limits.

This makes the Bluetooth battery charger particularly useful when installed somewhere that is not easily accessible.

VE.Smart Networking

VE.Smart Networking allows compatible Victron products to communicate wirelessly using Bluetooth Smart. Compatible devices can share battery voltage, temperature and current information to help optimise charging.

Up to ten compatible chargers can also be synchronised within a VE.Smart Network. They can then follow the same charging stages together.

Intelligent 12V Battery Charging

This 12V 15A battery charger is suitable for regular charging and longer-term battery maintenance. NIGHT and LOW modes can reduce the maximum output to 50% of the rated charging current.

The Victron battery charger also provides dedicated charging options for lead-acid and Li-ion batteries. Always select the correct charging settings for the connected battery.
