Truma FrostControl for Caravan and Motorhome Water Heaters

The Truma FrostControl is an automatic safety drain valve designed to protect Truma caravan and motorhome water heaters from frost damage. When the temperature falls to approximately 3°C, the valve automatically opens to drain the water heater, helping to prevent damage caused by freezing water.

Designed for use with compatible Truma Combi and Truma water heating systems, the FrostControl also functions as a pressure relief valve, automatically releasing excess pressure within the water system when required.

The compact design allows for straightforward installation, while the manual reset function enables the valve to be closed again once the temperature has risen above approximately 7°C and the water system is ready to be refilled.
