The Victron MultiPlus 24/1600/40-16 combines a 1600VA pure sine wave inverter, 40A battery charger and 16A AC transfer switch in one unit. Designed for 24V battery systems, it provides dependable 230V electricity for campervans, motorhomes, boats and off-grid installations.

With intelligent battery charging, PowerControl, PowerAssist and VE.Bus connectivity, this inverter charger offers flexible power management whether you're connected to an external supply or running from your batteries.

Victron MultiPlus 24/1600/40-16 – Reliable Off-Grid Power

This 24V inverter charger converts stored battery energy into stable 230V AC electricity. It delivers 1300W continuously at 25°C, with up to 2800W peak power for compatible equipment with higher starting demands.

When connected to campsite hook-up, shore power or a suitable generator, the MultiPlus supplies incoming electricity to connected appliances while charging the battery bank.

If the external supply becomes unavailable, the integrated transfer switch automatically changes to inverter operation. This helps keep compatible equipment running during power interruptions.

PowerControl adjusts battery charging demand to help prevent overloading a limited external supply. PowerAssist goes further by temporarily supplementing incoming electricity with battery power when additional capacity is required.

VE.Bus connectivity supports configuration, compatible remote controls and integration with Victron monitoring equipment.

Bluetooth and internet connectivity are not built in. Additional compatible equipment is required for Bluetooth access or remote monitoring through Victron's VRM portal.

Installation should be completed by a suitably qualified person following Victron's instructions and applicable electrical regulations.
