The Victron MultiPlus 12/500/20-16 combines a 500VA pure sine wave inverter, 20A battery charger and 16A AC transfer switch in one compact unit. Designed for 12V battery systems, it provides dependable 230V electricity for campervans, motorhomes, boats and smaller off-grid installations.

With adaptive battery charging, automatic AC switching and VE.Bus connectivity, this inverter charger offers a practical way to manage onboard power without installing separate devices.

Victron MultiPlus 12/500/20-16 – Compact Off-Grid Power

This 12V inverter charger converts energy stored in your leisure battery into stable 230V AC electricity. It delivers 430W continuously at 25°C, with 900W peak power for compatible equipment with higher starting demands.

Its pure sine wave output makes it suitable for smaller appliances, chargers and sensitive electronic equipment.

When connected to campsite hook-up, shore power or a suitable generator, the integrated 20A adaptive charger replenishes the battery bank.

The automatic transfer switch changes between external AC electricity and inverter operation when the incoming supply becomes unavailable. This provides convenient power management when travelling or staying off-grid.

The compact enclosure is particularly useful in campervans and boats where installation space is limited. VE.Bus connectivity also supports integration with compatible Victron monitoring and control equipment.

PowerControl and PowerAssist are not available on this 500VA model.

Bluetooth is not built in. Additional compatible equipment is required for Bluetooth access or remote VRM monitoring.
