Know exactly what is happening inside your leisure battery system with the Victron Energy SmartShunt. This intelligent, display-free battery monitor delivers accurate real-time information directly to your phone or tablet through the VictronConnect app.

The SmartShunt measures battery voltage, charge and discharge current, consumed amp-hours, state of charge and estimated remaining runtime. Historical data makes it easy to understand how your battery bank is performing over time, helping you manage power consumption and identify potential charging issues before they interrupt your journey.

Built-in Bluetooth removes the need for a separate display and reduces installation wiring. For more advanced systems, the VE.Direct port allows the SmartShunt to connect to a compatible Victron GX device, giving you centralised system monitoring and optional remote access through the VRM portal.

An auxiliary input can be configured to monitor either a starter battery’s voltage, battery-bank midpoint or temperature when used with the optional sensor. Available in 500A, 1000A and 2000A versions, the SmartShunt is suitable for installations ranging from campervans and motorhomes to boats and larger off-grid power systems.

Technical specifications

The auxiliary input can perform one selectable function at a time. Battery-temperature monitoring requires the optional Victron temperature sensor, while GX-device integration requires a suitable VE.Direct cable.
