Combine powerful 230V inverter performance, rapid battery charging and intelligent mains management with the Victron MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-32. Designed for 12V battery systems, it is an excellent choice for motorhomes, campervans, boats, off-grid installations and backup-power systems.

The pure sine-wave inverter delivers 3,000VA or 2,400W of continuous power at 25°C, with a peak output of 5,500W to help start appliances and equipment with high initial power demands.

When shore, grid or generator power is available, the built-in adaptive charger can supply up to 120A to the battery bank. Victron’s PowerControl function prevents charging from overloading a restricted AC supply, while PowerAssist supplements the incoming supply with battery power when demand temporarily exceeds the available capacity.

If the incoming AC supply fails, the MultiPlus-II switches essential loads to inverter power in less than 20 milliseconds. This rapid transfer can keep compatible computers and other sensitive equipment operating without interruption.

Two AC outputs add flexibility to the installation. The main output remains powered during inverter operation, while the auxiliary output can be used for appliances that should only run when an external AC supply is available, preventing unnecessary battery discharge.

VE.Bus connectivity supports system configuration, compatible remote controls, parallel operation and integration with a Victron GX device for remote monitoring through the VRM portal.

Technical specifications

The MultiPlus-II does not include built-in Bluetooth. Bluetooth access requires a compatible VE.Bus Smart Dongle, while internet-based monitoring requires a Victron GX device and network connection. A 3,000VA inverter can draw very high current from a 12V battery bank, so correctly sized batteries, cables, fuses and isolators are essential.
